The theory and practical courses are very closely interlinked and should be done in conjunction with each other although you can start at any level depending on your experience and ability.

10. Yachtmaster Coastal practical accesssment exam Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate of Competence

You can get Commercial endoursments on level 2 powerboat course certification & on Intermediate or Advanced Powerboat after passing the practical exam Powerboat Commercial Endorsement
For RYA Powerboat: Level 1 - Level 2 - Intermediate - Advanced courses & ICC exam see the COURSE & COURSES-1 pages.
The Advanced Powerboat course requires students to be to at least Coastal Skipper theory level.
